Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran through 2015. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira experiencing a turbulent living situation in the context of the U.S. attack on Iraq in the Gulf War. In 2007, she was chosen by Variety as one of 10 actors to watch. In 2009, she was the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film. Alongside Lucky 7, she has appeared on Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as in a variety of television guest roles.
